LA to NYC

Just got back from a massive Photon image job in America. Can you believe it! Rain in Los Angeles! Went to the Getty museum for a photo exhibition. Jason Gairn is a name I'd like to see on those walls. Then I went to New York for another Photon job. It rained again! An exciting shoot on the streets of New York. This was the first time Photon image has used shift and tilt lenses in such an architectural environment. Cool!
Two weeks away and Jason misses his family. Glad to say I'm home now and editing 5000 images down to 300!

Packing for the States

I'm off on Monday the 4th to Los Angeles for a 2 day shoot. Staying at the stupidly opulent Sunset Marquis hotel. Then on the 7th, Photon will fly to New York for a 6 day shoot. Shooting on the streets of New York is always special. This time around using perspective shift lenses.
I'll miss the family greatly, but will use skype to stay in touch. Back on the17th.

Switzerland ho!

Photon Image has a meeting in Geneva Switzerland to discuss the brief for a large shoot in New York. Jason Gairn is also shooting in Los Angeles in October. The talents being photographed are of a highly confidential nature; suffice to say that they are both quite famous and of course beautiful.
The Cragg sisters in Aldeburgh are still exhibiting Photon Image photographs. Pop in for a cup of tea and possibly buy a photograph.

My Chimera Career

Well Photon is branching out into shows and expo films. I've written 216 emails today to companies that might want the talents of Jason Gairn. Photon Image has some work in America next month which is always exciting. Thanks To Sue at Batribike for her encouragement and advice.
Time to buy a new camera and put a show reel on the website.
